If you purchased in‑app on iOS (Apple IAP), Apple is the merchant of record—we cannot issue IAP refunds, but we will guide you step‑by‑step and help you submit your request to Apple.


A) Apple In‑App Purchases (IAP)

Who charges you: Apple (merchant of record).
Best first step: Email admin@kalam.gg so we can (1) check your account, (2) make sure renewal is canceled, and (3) provide the exact refund steps.

How to cancel auto‑renew (iOS):

  1. Open Settings → tap your Apple IDSubscriptions.

  2. Select Kalam → tap Cancel Subscription (or Cancel Free Trial).

  3. You keep access through the current paid term; Apple handles all future billing.

How to request a refund from Apple:
• Visit reportaproblem.apple.com → sign in → select the purchase → choose Request a refund and the reason.
• Or contact Apple Support from your device.
• We cannot issue or expedite IAP refunds, but we will assist you with screenshots and the correct order details.

What to include when you email us (helps Apple process faster):
• Your Apple ID email (the one used on the device at purchase),
• Approximate charge date and amount,
• Region (App Store country), and any Apple invoice you received.

Notes for transparency:
• Apple’s decision controls IAP refunds; timing varies by region/card network.
• Canceling stops future charges; it does not automatically refund past ones.


B) Web Purchases (Stripe)

Who charges you: Node Zero Inc via Stripe.
Best first step: Email admin@kalam.gg—for eligible web transactions we can refund directly to your original payment method.

Trials: Trials typically run 3–7 days (shown at checkout) and are one per customer. At trial end, the plan auto‑renewsunless you cancel ≥24 hours before the trial ends.

How to cancel auto‑renew (web):
• Use the Billing Portal (link in your emailed receipt and in‑app/account settings).
• Cancellation is immediate for future cycles; access continues through the current paid term.
• We do not offer prorated/partial‑period refunds unless required by law.

Refunds (web/Stripe):
Goodwill window (renewals): If a renewal was charged and there was no post‑charge usage (e.g., no new lessons/drills), contact us within 24 hours for a courtesy refund.
Not eligible: partial‑term refunds; repeated goodwill refunds within 12 months; refunds after significant post‑charge usage; accounts with prior chargebacks or abuse.
How to request: Email admin@kalam.gg with the account email/phone, last 4 digits of the card, and the charge date/amount so we can locate the payment.
Processing time: Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method; bank posting times vary.

Descriptor & receipts (web): Your statement shows KALAM(or local equivalent). Receipts include plan, price, next renewal date, and Manage/Cancel link.


C) Don’t remember where you purchased?

• If you see Apple on your receipt/statement, follow Section A.
• If you see KALAM*ARABIC or received a Stripe receipt from us, follow Section B.
• Or just email admin@kalam.gg—we’ll look it up and point you to the right path.


D) Reduce disputes / faster resolutions (both channels)

  1. Email us first—we’ll cancel future renewals and resolve eligible refunds faster than a card dispute.

  2. Use the built‑in cancel paths (Apple Subscriptions or Stripe Billing Portal) to stop future charges.

  3. Keep your purchase email handy (Apple ID for IAP, account email for web) so we can locate your order quickly.
